A Spring in the Era of the Coronavirus Pandemic

My birthday, March 1st, was just over two weeks ago.  Celebrating was as natural as hugging one another. Since? The world has turned topsy-turvy due to the worst possible health hazard I have experienced in my 69 years of life. The Coronavirus or COVID-19.

I remember thinking how horrific the citizens of Wuhan, China and its surrounding areas were experiencing. Yet, just several weeks later, here we are facing possibly the same. In 1 1/2 weeks, I've learned social distancing and protecting myself from the virus in ways suggested by multiple sources, but especially the CDC, https://www.cdc.gov/, and government, on the state and local levels.

Yesterday, I woke up asking myself, "How is the world today?" These images from around the world have left deep impressions.  I pray we'll get through this, and look back at it all as having been one long nightmare.
