In Love On Coffee Breaks by Petra Michelle
FADE IN:
INT. POLICE STATION. A SMALL TOWN IN ITALY - DAY
A young POLICEMAN on his coffee break observes a young, sultry WOMAN enter a beauty salon across the street. He follows her with loving eyes as she makes her way to the telephone.
INTERCUT BETWEEN GABRIELLA'S AND MICHAEL'S TELEPHONE CONVERSATION:
GABRIELLA Hello, my love.
MICHAEL Hello, Sunshine.
GABRIELLA You forgot your wallet.
MICHAEL I was expecting your call.
GABRIELLA What?
MICHAEL I swear. I've been waiting for an hour. Ask Joe.
GABRIELLA (laughing) Okay, stop fooling around. When can you pick it up?
MICHAEL I'm having my coffee now.
Holding the phone to her ear, Gabriella peers through the blinds of the beauty salon.
MICHAEL She's at the window, looking at me without seeing me. (resting his chin in his hand) She parks in forbidden places, to tease the policeman who adores her instead of fining her.
Gabriella LAUGHS as she releases the blinds.
MICHAEL You find it funny? How I torture over my love for you?
GABRIELLA Okay, ciao.
She hangs up the telephone and walks away.
MICHAEL (sighs) Ciao, Bella. Until my next coffee break.
FADE TO BLACK
